Cowparseley and Flower

Seedhead
My formal training was as a textile designer at Loughborough
College of Art and Design. I returned to college in 1999 to take a
BTEC Foundation course and went on to study Fine Art and
Printmaking BA Hons at University College Northampton.
I work with paint, mixed media, collage and print to produce bright,
fresh images on canvas and paper. My work is a mixture of the
formal and abstract, using a variety of subject matter that ranges
from Landscape to Seascape, and Portraits to Movement.
I work from memory, and use drawings and photographs as
reference points while the works evolve organically through the
process of painting and mark making.
I am a member of Artist Network Bedfordshire and take part in
Open Studios each year. I have been a past member of the Visual
Images Group in Buckinghamshire, The Milton Keynes Society of
Artists and The Milton Keynes Printmakers.
I have regularly exhibited with each of the above and recently at
the AIM Gallery in Milton Keynes.
