Neil's work focuses on the genre of still life. By examining form, the interaction of lights and darks and representing these elements with a fine attention to detail and truth to nature, Neil's paintings create a contemporary realism.

Neil was born in Nottingham, England in 1967. In the year 2000, after completing formal qualifications in Art & Design Neil embarked on a round the world trip to pursue his passion for painting and travel. He produced and exhibited paintings for Galleries in Eastern Australia and Northern California before returning to England to settle.
