I am A British Asian born in Wellingborough in 1973. Having lived in India and Kenya, my colourful and diverse background is reflected in my work. I make use of different media in varying styles to bring texture and dimensions to my paintings. Based in North Buckinghamshire I live with my husband and four daughters. I find inspiration all around me. Every sight, sound and emotion can lead me to instinctively create paintings that are fresh and uplifting. Unique paintings you enjoy looking at and take you away to a different place. Drawn to many subjects, I feel the same passion for creating pencil portraits as I do about my still life paintings. I believe that art is all around us. Look closely enough and we can see real beauty in the things we normally take for granted.
